KriyaAsana classes blend the traditions of both Kundalini & Vinyasa. We will use the Vinyasa style to disperse our energy both internally and externally along with a set of Kriyas which stem from the Kundalini tradition & combine breath, sound & movement. Each month will have a theme, aligned with what’s happening on a planetary level. We will strengthen the nervous system so it can handle the pressures of everyday life without negatively affecting you while we unpack all that we’ve stored over the years to leave us feeling more relaxed & free. All classes will include pranayama, meditation, some chanting & movement.


These classes are suitable for EVERYBODY. All levels are welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned practitioner. If you’re feeling stuck mentally and or physically, these classes will open up your energy so you can get back into the fluid flow of life with direction, purpose & joy.


Michelle Bartolo has been in the fitness & health industry for 30 years and is fascinated by the human mind, body & spirit. Originally born in Malta & raised in Toronto, Canada, her yoga journey began when she noticed she was going way off balance in her late twenties. So off to Rishikesh, India, she went in 2010 into an Ashram to do a 500hr Teacher Training in Transformational Yoga. Since then, she’s offered retreats, private classes, and 200 hr teacher training on an international level.

Her classes are inspired by the Kundalini tradition, which she practiced since 2010 and thought for the past six years. Kundalini works very close to the nervous system on a subtle level and unpacks whatever we have stored in our physical, mental & emotional bodies through breath, sound & movement. Having been in the Yoga field now for 20 years, this practice has proved incredibly results in both herself and the students she has trained. This Yoga is for EVERY BODY as long as you have a willingness to grow, heal & connect to your SAT NAM (truth is your identity). Michelle has also used this Yoga for students dealing with depression, epilepsy, arthritis, insecurity, slipped discs, addictions, attention deficit disorder & fibromyalgia. She is now 48 years old and is amazed at how much more free she feels in her body, mind & spirit than she did when her yoga journey first began. It’s never too late to start – it can only get better if you do.
